Dear Fellow Bike Racers, This is an email to invite you to the Ecology Center Classic Stage Race on = Memorial Day weekend. (May 27,28,29) The race is held in and around the = great mountain town of Missoula, Montana. We are excited to announce that this year's prize purse is $10,000. This = year the event is a LAJORS event as well. The race starts on Saturday evening with the Twilight Match Sprints held = on the main drag in downtown Missoula. Last year both sides of the street = were lined with an estimated 3000 spectators! The Big Flat Time trial will be held the next morning. This is a classic = test against the clock that includes some technical turns, a short steep = climb and a blazing downhill. On Sunday afternoon the streets around Bonner Park will be shut down for = the Bonner Park Criterium. This Miss-and-Out event features a figure 8 = course through the University residential district. Monday morning's penultimate stage will be the infamous Perma Road Race. = This is a 51 mile loop (twice for the Pro 1,2 men) riding up and over some of the most scenic = mountain terrain in the west.
