Thanks to everyone who responded, on & off list. The consesus is that particularly here in the North Wet, canti's have some major advantages. There were disenting opinions of course; this _is_ OBRA. :D I bought both pairs of Craig's Tektro RPB CNC machined canti brakes, so I'm in buisness!
