I am in the Netherlands right now, and heading to the South of France. My only comment is "BRING YOUR BIKE!" I don't have mine because I am working, and it is HELL. Everyone rides here, and fast. There are huge peletons circulating around the bike paths in even the smallest villages. You will wish you had wheels . . . . . . -sal Hi OBRA folks, My Fiance and I are going to Europe in June 9-28. Looks like we'll be able to catch the last stage of the Dauphine (Gap-Grenoble)... http://www.uciprotour.nl/wedstrijd/dauphine-libere.html and potentially a bit of the Tour de Suisse. http://www.tourdesuisse.com/tourdesuisse/francais/parcours.html Curious if anyone on the list has experience travelling in these regions and would have any suggestions for lodging, transportation, can't-miss areas, etc. The bike's staying home, btw. Thanks so much for your time. Chris Brandt |
